T’arts Burlesque Life Drawing

Artist and lecturer Faye leads the session, she has a huge amount of knowledge to share. Supported by resident Lab artist Marco, main model Gemma and producer Tamsyn.

Each month we focus on a different artistic movement, March will be Pop art so bright colours, plastic fantastic and the shock of the new. We will have a short intro to the greatest hits of the movement and then we’ll get drawing!

We usually do a mix of short poses to get everyone warmed up and then one longer one where you can complete a mini masterpiece!

Materials are available at the venue or you can bring your own. Please bring a drawing board and paper or a sketchbook so you have something to lean on.

Our models are from the Flauntettes troupe led by Miss Scarlett Tails, we use costume and props in our poses but there is also nudity so if you are offended by boobs this is probably not an event for you.

NB THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT – IT’S A SAFE SPACE – ABSOLUTELY NO WEIRD BEHAVIOUR – IF YOU ARE IN THE ROOM IT IS TO DRAW!
NO PHOTOS, NO TOUCHING, ADULTS ONLY.

ALL OUR TEACHERS AND MODELS ARE VOLUNTEERS.

Cost: £2 in the materials fund – no need to book.
(plus an extra £1 if you aren’t a Lab member – why not join up for access to all our amazing arts and music events! Its only £12 (£5 concession) for the year and you’ll be supporting a small independant arts venue).
