forest of fools fuse
In the blink of an eye, you’ll be whisked from the courtyards of Medieval England, to an underground warehouse party. 180 BPM D&B and Jungle Drum sections masterfully interlaced with African Percussion set the tempo for a high-energy supernova of effects-laden trance-folk Melodeon and psychedelic Lead Guitar. Harmonious funk-laced Bass Guitar sits alongside didge-inspired, multi-phonic Sousaphone Brass to create a sub-bass frenzy with serious groove. The resulting composition is as ground-breaking as it is sonically beautiful; a true musical odyssey for the 21st Century.
Ginhouse Gypsies – Seductive, sensual and diverse. The Ginhouse Gypsies are a gypsy, jazz, blues collective from Northampton.
SIx uniquely talented musicians bring different influences from around the globe – Spanish guitar, Balkan melodies and African rhythms – to create a live performance which leads the audience through the folk traditions of the world.
Fronting the Gypsies are the trio of female musicians who bring the stage alive with three-piece harmony and contemporary and tribal belly dance, hypnotising the audience with tales of suppression, passion, anxiety, adventure, old love, new love and late-night gin-houses.
Solo female beatbox, spoken word fused with delicate dreamscape arrangements. Talent as far and wide as the River Nile.
